HELPFUL HINTS
Easiest installation will be with the boat or water craft off of the trailer. Simply drop your boat at the nearest boat ramp and you’re ready to install. Installation may be done at the boat ramp in a short amount of time. Installation MAY or MAY NOT require boat to be off of the trailer (depending on trailer, boat size & type)
Always wear safety goggles when drilling.
Spray heads can be added or aimed in any direction where there is, or potentially will be, a corrosion problem.
All trailers are built different, so take a moment and walk around your trailer and take note of where you would like your spray heads to spray. Simply add a T-fitting, small piece of tubing and spray head pointing at problem areas.
A continuous loop around the trailer connecting back to the first T-fitting will ensure all spray heads receive equal pressure.
If trailer wiring is attached with metal clips you may want to re-secure wiring with the tubing (Step 5) You may secure tubing to existing wiring if wiring is properly secured.
Passing tubing through box frame using a straightened wire coat hanger can be helpful.
Pass wire through box frame, slide tubing over coat hanger then push through.
Flush Salt-Away® through Trailer Spa for approximately 2 minutes. Leave Salt-Away® on trailer. DO NOT WASH SALT-AWAY® OFF.
